Inquiry Received
Thank you for reaching out. An artist will review your inquiry and contact you within 24 hours to discuss next steps. In the meantime, feel free to follow us on Instagram or message us on WhatsApp for anything urgent.
Flash designs are available subject to the current sheet rotation. We recommend checking our Instagram feed first to see what's currently posted and available — artists announce available flash on their stories and posts. Walk-ins are welcome when slots are open, but for flash pieces from specific sheets, DM us first to confirm availability before making the trip.
Start by sending a detailed inquiry — describe your concept, preferred placement, approximate size, and any reference images. An artist will review it and reach out to discuss feasibility, timeline, and design development. For custom pieces, a deposit is typically required to secure your booking slot and begin the design process. The final design is usually reviewed at the start of your session.
After your session, your artist will walk you through aftercare instructions specific to your piece. Generally: keep the tattoo clean and moisturized, avoid direct sun exposure, do not soak in water (baths, swimming pools, sea) for at least 2 to 3 weeks, and do not pick or scratch peeling skin. Using a fragrance-free lotion or dedicated tattoo aftercare balm is recommended. Your artist will be available to answer follow-up questions.
Surface healing typically takes 2 to 4 weeks, during which the skin will peel and the tattoo may appear dull. Full deep-skin healing can take 3 to 6 months. During this period, the true final color and contrast of the tattoo will emerge. Larger pieces and areas with thicker or more textured skin (hands, knees, feet) may take longer to heal and require extra care.
Yes. Touch-ups on work done at Good Hand Tattoo are offered on a case-by-case basis, once the tattoo has fully healed (minimum 3 months). Please note that touch-ups are for issues related to the tattooing process itself — improper aftercare, sun damage, or natural aging are not covered. DM us a photo of your healed piece and your artist will advise on whether a touch-up is needed.
Eat a good meal before your session — low blood sugar can make the experience more uncomfortable. Stay hydrated. Wear or bring clothing that provides easy access to the area being tattooed. Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Keep the skin clean and moisturized in the days leading up to your session, but do not apply any product on the day of the tattoo.
Absolutely. Reference images are extremely helpful — even rough sketches, mood boards, or Pinterest pins. They give the artist a clear direction for style, composition, and visual tone. That said, our artists will adapt references into original artwork rather than copying them directly. The goal is to create something unique that is tailored to your body and vision.
Cover-ups and reworks are done on a case-by-case basis. Send us a clear photo of the existing tattoo via DM along with an idea of what you'd like to replace it with, and we can advise on feasibility. Cover-ups require the new design to be significantly darker and larger than the original — our artist will be honest with you about what is and is not possible before you commit.
